The purpose of the EDTCRC is to reduce criminal recidivism in drug-addicted populations. To achieve this, the EDTCRC aims to reduce drug dependence – the root cause of criminal behaviour. The expected outcome of accomplishing these two objectives is for participants to become self-sufficient, healthy, and productive members of society.
